I mixed this song called AX for the LOUD series compilation release in-the-box on my Pro Tools HD3 system with Waves and McDSP plugins. I worked with mastering engineer Gil Tamazyan at Threshold Sound where I also have my mix studio which made it very convenient.

The band wanted a very loud and punchy mix since the song would be in direct competition with all the other bands on the disc. I was able to work with Gil in giving him something that would produce the punchy results without irritating distortion when brought up to loud levels. The band was extremely happy with the mix and mastering and how it stacked up to the other bands.
